CAAC Singles Tournament

The CAAC Singles Tournament is quickly approaching. 

ENTRY COSTS:

Entry Fee is $20 per bowler 
Bring Payment with you the morning of the tournament. 
Checks need to be payable to: Royal Scot.

Additionally, Lunch is available at your own expense thru Royal Scot. Be sure to order EARLY to ensure you have your food during the lunch break (approximately 12:00 Noon)

Here are a few key pieces of information that I need to pass along.

Check in 8:00 AM

Coaches Meeting 8:30 AM

Warm Up 8:45 AM

Start time 9:00 AM
Lunch Break approximately noon-1:00pm (Royal Scot is supposed to be re oiling lanes during this time for match play)

Spectator Admission is $5.00 per person*
*Infant - 5 years old are Free.  
*Senior Citizens are free

Rosters are limited to 6 per team (boys / Girls) and 2 coaches.
Qualifying is 6 games 

Top 16 move on to Match Play

Single Elimination, Total Pin Fall, Two Games will advance.

 

Rosters are preferred by this FRIDAY but absolutely no later than Monday January 30, 2023 at 6pm. 
Changes can be made the morning of, if needed.

If you have anyone that would like to volunteer to help with this event, please have them email me asap!  Volunteers are needed to be score runners, admission tables, posting standing sheets, and more! 
No admission fee for Volunteers!

Scoring Files Update & CAAC Reminder

Hello Coaches!

Scores have been updated this morning as of 8:30 AM. I see that there are a couple more score sheets in my email from this morning. I will put those on the next update. Please take a look and let me know if there are any discrepancies. 

A few tips that will make this faster and easier on my end.

#1 - Be sure you have the correct schools listed on your score sheets. Some have come in with the wrong school on them (perhaps you used a pre-printed sheet and just forgot to change the name).

#2 - Please be sure you have correct names and spelling of athletes. I have had to spend far too much time tracking down correct names. 

#3 - Please send your score sheets using the correct file/format. I am receiving a lot of photos with hand written sheets.  I understand this might be quicker for you; however, I have to go back in and type all of it myself. Please send your scores over as a pdf or xcel sheet using this sheet.

#4 - If you need the Roster Sheet, Click Here! 

#5 - If you receive errors on your scoring file and the totals will not tabulate, please double check your line up positions. Be sure every athlete(s) that bowled has a position assigned to them.  If you have done that and are still having trouble, let me know.

The CAAC Singles Tournament is quickly approaching. Please keep an eye out on this site for further information regarding that.  In the meantime, start thinking about which athletes will be competing.

I have been working diligently on getting all of the information together and building this site from scratch.  Thank you for being as patient as you have been.  I am not quite finished as I am uploading still each of the completed score sheets that I received. I will work on that the rest of this week.  The Division Stats are listed and the spreadsheet listing stats from all schools in the conference are on that  tab.  

If you notice an error, please bring it to my attention right away so that I can investigate it and correct it, as needed.

Scores are beginning to roll in...

 Happy New Year!

I have a handful of score sheets to get posted this week. Please know that I am working on them.

I request that you send in a fully completed score sheet in the xcel or pdf format using the scoring file. If you need this file, please let me know by emailing and I will send it to you. I am receiving several files that are incomplete. Moving forward, if I receive scores in a different format, I will request that you fix it and send it correctly.  

Additionally, the CAAC Singles Tournament that is held at Royal Scot is on Sunday February 5th, 2023.  I will send an email out in the next week with further information regarding this event. 

I appreciate your patience as I work through getting this site set up from scratch. Unfortunately, the previous site used for the CAAC Bowling is no longer able to be utilized.
